This month, we welcomed new member Jane into the club. Jane helped to present a cheque for this year’s Lytham In Bloom displays. Lytham St Annes Lions Club we’re pleased to unveil a brass plaque below our barrier baskets outside Stringers. We’d like to thank the staff for keeping the plants watered!
All the club members are carrying out their own fund raising events as part of a Talent Challenge, doing a range of events like cake bakes, table top sales, to charity meals.
July saw the election of our new Lions President Bob, and start of the Lions new
year 2010-
In July one of longest standing members, Ken Wilkinson, sadly passed to higher service.. Ken dedicated much of his life to our club and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Ken.
About us
We are a club of over 20 members living in and around Lytham St Annes. Some of us work, some are retired, and we all share a willingness to fund raise and help others. Are members are all very enthusiastic however not all as youthful as they’d like to be.
Maybe you have some good ideas for events we could hold? Are you looking for a rewarding experience? Do you have some life skills that could be helpful to others?
